7th circuit has denied plaintiff's motion to amend complaint. this now will call for a new complaint.
7th circuit has denied leave to file statement per rule 52.
Question: what is the deadline .. oops wrong blog :)

Ok, I have made no entries since february. It is now september.
My blogging efforts have been going into the soapbox, my election law blog.
The other day I had some soup.
You could call it borsht of a sort.
One fresh beet, sliced.
Water.
Mexican powdered tomato soup mix.
All of these came from the dumpster of the local supermercado.
Bacon drippings in the pan - the pig died of natural causes and willed it's body to gastronmy. I am otherwise a strict vegetarian.
The only sour cream i had was too old to use.. and in soup like this you can use old way past its date sour cream if it isn't moldy or spoiled. So this was dairyless if not kosher.
The best borsht I ever had was at a ukranian orthodox church in new jersey.
With Brooke. (link should be to arden fair pic of brooke when i get that set up)
Boil 20 minutes, serve. It might be better with a sprig of mint and some more
pepper. I stil have a couple beets less, plus if any came up in my garden - i have turnips, and should check to see how they are doing. I have harvested some seeds of this and that.
Tomatoes are not doing well. Dope is fucking fine, i'm on it now.
